Fujitsu introduces AMD Fusion-powered Lifebook PH50

Fujitsu has unveiled an 11.6-inch AMD Fusion-powered notebook in the Japanese market called the Lifebook PH50/C. 

The unit is equipped with a dual core 1.6GHz E-350 ‘Zacate’ APU with integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 2GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The Lifebook PH50 weighs 1.5Kg and purports a battery life in excess of 7 hours which bodes well for the generation of ultra portables based on AMD’s integrated CPU/GPU Fusion platform.

The notebook is set to go on sale in Japan for around 80,000 yen or a little over £600.
