Esprimo FH99 to hit the Japanese market next month

Fujitsu announce ‘world first’ glasses-free 3D PC

Japanese PC maker Fujitsu has announced what the firm claims is the world’s first desktop computer with glasses-free 3D.

The Esprimo FH99 is bundled with a 23-inch LCD monitor which features a an additional optical panel which splits the images in seperate views for each eye. The viewing-angle dependent technology requires that the user sitting directly in front of the screen.

3D Blu-ray playback is also supported on the Intel Core i7-equipped PC which also comes bundled with 4GB of memory and a 2TB hard drive. 

The Fujitsu PC is being targetted at the Japanese market initially with a release some time next month. There’s no word yet on availability outside of the Japanese market.
