The $700 HDMI cable

Best Buy in the US are offering a six and a half foot ‘Coffee’ HDMI cable for $695.95.

From Best Buy’s ‘Magnolia’ premium home cinema range, the AudioQuest – Coffee 6.6′ HDMI cable comes in an attractive dual tone black and brown.

The HDMI cable features, according to the Best Buy site, "solid silver-plated long-grain copper conductors and a dielectric-bias system to reduce jitter and distortion."

Helpfully, ‘Anonymous’ has added a review to the site – giving the cable a five star rating.

"I simply had to have the very best HDMI cable and price was NO object," said Anonymous.

"You see when I want to watch digital television in the winter pent house I need the very, very best. I simply can’t stand jitter of any kind. Only the riff-raff watch jitter littered digital television. I sir, am no riff-raff."
