All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. No, scrap that, I'll have a tablet please

30% of kids want an iPad

Kids love the iPad, it turns out. According to a survey by research firm Nielsen, Apple’s tablet was the top tech product children want in the next six months.

31 per cent of American children aged six to 12 chose the iPad over more child-friendly devices such as the Nintendo DS (25 per cent), PS3 (21 per cent0, Xbox 360 (12 per cent) and Microsoft’s new Kinect device for Xbox (14 per cent).

Perhaps surprisingly, 11 per cent said they wanted an e-reader.

Looks like an expensive Christmas for American parents.
