Store impresses PCR with strong knowledge and service

Comet takes the lead in Mystery Shopper

Comet has come top in October’s Mystery Shopper, when PCR headed to Solihull in search of an external hard drive to back up media and potentially stream content to a TV.

The chain retailer scored an impressive eight out of ten, beating Tesco into second place with seven and Currys into third with a score of six.

Our Shopper was impressed with the customer service. “The information I received was simple and to the point. I was given appropriate advice that met my request and I would have purchased, but I would have liked an overview of a few products in more detail,” they wrote.

The visit as a whole was, as usual for our hard-to-please Shopper, judged to be “somewhat disappointing”, with one store even recommending an Xbox in place of an HDD.
