Early adopters of iPads are more satisfied with Apple’s tablet than more recent purchasers, according to market research firm NPD.
Its latest survey of iPad owners found that almost 80 per cent of people who bought one in the first two months are very satisfied with the device, compared to 65 per cent of those who bought it more recently. This could, however, be a case of fanboys versus more level-headed latecomers.
NPD also discovered that early adopters are 44 per cent more likely than latecomers to be watching YouTube videos, 50 per cent more likely to watch movies, 60 per cent more likely to watch TV shows, and 38 per cent more likely to be reading e-books.
According to NPD’s stats, the three most popular uses for the device are web surfing, email and playing games.
