FIFA and PES demos both due tomorrow

Konami has confirmed that the Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 demo will be released on multiple platforms tomorrow – the same day as EA releases its first public FIFA 11 taster.

“Great news,” UK PES team leader Jon Murphy revealed on Twitter. “Xbox 360 demo confirmed for the 15th September alongside the other versions. Only a day to wait now!”

Last year’s collision between the pair saw EA’s title emerge very much as the victor, breaking sales records for the brand and, according to EA, outselling PES by a ratio of 4-to-1.

FIFA was also the star performer on a critical level, too, averaging a Metacritic average of 90 per cent compared to PES 2010’s 78 per cent.
