E-Ink Holdings claims 39 per cent revenue boost for the year so far

E-Ink manufacturer sees significant yearly growth

The company that exclusively makes the e-ink screens that have boosted the popularity of e-readers, E-Ink Holdings, has announced that its revenue for the year so far has grown by 39 per cent compared to the same period last year.

According to Digitimes, the company generated $50.3 million in revenue during August, representing a 16 per cent year on year increase and growth of 2.57 per cent over the previous month.

E-Ink Holdings is reported to be increasing production, following the price cut of Amazon’s Kindle and in anticipation of heightened orders in the months leading to the Christmas period.
