Zune Pass tipped to launch in UK

A British web site has unveiled details of Microsoft’s planned Zune Pass service, which is set to provide unlimited music streaming for £8.99 a month.

Liveside.net reported that a British web user discovered a Microsoft web page for signing up to a subscription for Zune Pass. Microsoft has not yet officially revealed pricing or a launch timeframe but had previously said the service would be ready in time for the launch of Windows Phone 7 devices.

The user screenshot shows a two week free trial and a service that was priced on the web page at £8.99 per month and £26.97 for a three month subscription.

Zune Pass is expected to offer unlimited streams and temporary downloads with a bundle of ten permanent 10 downloads per month.
