Making technology products more environmentally friendly is a good business opportunity for manufacturers, Greenpeace has said.
“Improving the energy efficiency of your products is a clear win-win. It’s good for the environment and the return investment is quite quick and quite easy,” Greenpeace International’s electronics campaign coordinator, Casey Harrell, told PCR.
“While we care about providing IT solutions for climate change for the climate’s sake, these companies… can make a lot of money in a constrained economy, so it’s also a business opportunity.”
