Adobe exec predicts Android and BlackBerry will support the software

Most smartphones to support Flash by 2012

Flash might not have Steve Jobs’ seal of approval, but Adobe believes it will be installed on more than 250 million smartphones by the end of 2012.

The company’s director of technology strategy Anup Murarka made the prediction in an interview with Reuters, and also claimed that Flash will be supported in 53 per cent of all smartphones that ship in 2012.

Murarka highlights Android, webOS, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Phone 7 as platforms that will be supporting Flash in the coming years.
