Joint winners storm ahead in low-scoring Manchester experience

PC World and Computer Warehouse come top in Mystery Shopper

PC World nabbed first place in Mystery Shopper for the second month in a row, this time sharing the top spot with indie retailer Computer Warehouse when PCR headed to Manchester looking for advice on upgrading a desktop to a high-spec gaming rig.

Both stores were awarded an impressive nine out of ten, in what was over all a very low-scoring Mystery Shopper.

“I was happy with the recommendations and was given advice from a person I trusted, as he clearly knew what he was talking about without confusing me with too much jargon,” our Shopper said of PC World.

Computer Warehouse was found to be slightly confusing location-wise and was “half filled with clothes”, however, “the sales assistant’s recommendations were clear and given with confidence from a wide variety of products available”, the Shopper said. “The suggestions were also backed up with the option to have the upgrades completed in store by someone who knows what they are doing.”
