Retail giant brings forward its launch date for Bank Holiday weekend

Best Buy to open early

Best Buy has advanced its launch date, and will officially open on April 30th, instead of the planned date in May.

It is thought that the dates have been moved to coincide with the bank holiday weekend of May 1st till the 3rd.

The grand opening of its flagship Thurrock outlet will consist of a four day ‘launch festival’ and will feature deals, competitions and entertainment.

Best Buy is hoping to go head-to-head with rivals DSGi and Comet, utilising its ‘customer-centric’ approach to retail.

“After months of intensive training at our dedicated academy, our Blueshirts are looking forward to welcoming you to our store and providing 100 per cent impartial advice,” said the general manager of Best Buy Thurrock, Kam Prajapati.

“They can show you how products work – and how they work together – to help make life easier, more connected and more filled with entertainment.”
