Interactive Ideas has been awarded Silver Investor in People status, placing the distributor among the top two per cent of employers recognised as being highly committed to their staff.
The Investors in People standard enables businesses to improve their performance through good practice in human resource development. Only two per cent of the 40,000 organisations with IiP accreditation have achieved silver or gold levels.
Mike Trup, Interactive Ideas’ managing director, said: “Our people are our number one asset and key to us continuing to provide the highest level of service to our customers and partners. We are investing heavily in our people and our new in-house training facilities. We provide extensive training internally as well as externally accredited training programs delivered by our providers The Leadership and Management People and Viva Associates.”
“We have had three record years of growth and have ambitious plans for the future, so we are actively building our infrastructure to cope with our future ambitious plans.”
Jane Jones, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Investors in People, added: “This is a fantastic achievement by Interactive Ideas and it goes to show that working with Investors in People can benefit organisations of all sizes and sectors. The Investors in People Standard is practical, flexible and easy to use and we hope that more organisations in the area will be encouraged to work with us to help them get the best from their people.”
