CeBIT 2010: Super-slim XS35 fits behind a flat panel monitor

Shuttle reveals new compact PC

German hardware vendor Shuttle has launched an ultra-compact PC, which, at just over 3cm wide, can fit behind a flat panel display.

The Shuttle Barebone XS35 is 3.3cm wide, HD-compatible and includes Intel’s Atom D510 Dual Core Processor and the NM10 Express Chipset. An Nvidia GT218 graphics card provides 3D and video playback.

The XS35 also features an HDMI connection, five USB ports, are a multi-format card reader and an optical slimline drive.

The vendor claims that, because the machine is passively cooled, it is practically noiseless.

The Shuttle Barebone XS35 will be available in the second quarter of the year, but pricing has not yet been announced.
