CeBIT 2010: Notebooks ship with Nvidia graphics docking stations

Gigabyte demos slew of new products

Gigabyte Technology has showcased several products at this year’s CeBIT, including motherboards, graphics cards and laptops.

As well as the recently-unveiled GA-P55A-UD7, the vendor displayed the soon-to-be-released GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard, featuring the AMD 890GX chipset paired with the new SB850 South Bridge. The device offers native support for Serial ATA 6Gbps and RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10.

The latest models in Gigabyte’s Booktop notebook range, the M1305 and M1405, are lightweight devices with Intel CULV processors. Both laptops ship with a docking station containing a built-in Nvidia GeForce GT 220 graphics card.

The vendor also demonstrated the newest addition to its Super Overclock Series of top-end graphics cards, the ATI RadeonTM HD 5870.

Other new products included the M8000Xtreme gaming mouse and the GreenMax 850W/ 650W power supply.
