Google’s smartphone, the Nexus One, will be available in the UK from April, according to reports.
The device will reportedly be available exclusively through Google’s website, at a price similar to that of the iPhone. Tariffs have not been announced.
Sources told The Daily Telegraph that, although Google’s first UK network partner, Vodafone, had been pushing for a March launch, April is when the company can realistically be prepared.
The Nexus One, manufactured by HTC, operates on the Android mobile operating system, with processing driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset – making it as powerful as some last generation laptops.
