iMac sees strong Christmas sales

Apple’s iMac saw strong Christmas sales in the UK, making an entry in to PCR’s Frontline sales charts for the first time.

The device, which was the fourth best selling desktop PC according to the retailers that we canvassed, highlights the growing popularity of buying consumer electronics as gifts during the festive period.

The iMac, which can be found at around £900 for the 500 GB version, is likely to have been a popular Christmas gift, due to its solid performance and its brand.
