CES 2010: CyberLink brings 3D to Blu-ray

CyberLink has unveiled its 3D Blu-ray solution, which offers three dimensional viewing in its forthcoming version of PowerDVD.

The software incorporates a multi-view codec that allows owners of 3D capable monitors to watch both animated and live-action movies with an additional dimension.

“CyberLink is committed to offering the best 3D Blu-ray experience on the widest range of hardware platforms,” commented CyberLink’s CEO Alice H. Chang.

“Our engineering team has been working very closely with the Blu-ray Disc Association, and with all of the leading hardware vendors, including NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel. We’re excited to be able to give partners and press at CES a first-hand look at the incredible entertainment experience that 3D Blu-ray will bring to PCs in 2010.”
