New version of Asus? netbook and tablet hits US retail

VIDEO: Asus goes multitouch with new netbook

Asus has revealed a new video of the Eee PC T91MT, an updated notebook/tablet hybrid that the firm hopes will spin the industry on its ear.

The video posted below shows the T91MT’s new multitouch capabilities, with users flicking, dragging, pointing and picking at photos and various sundries.

Crucially, the netbook integrates native support for Windows 7, an OS which can fully utilise touch-screen mechanics.

Further details after the video.

The T91MT’s predecessor has been on sale for over half a year, which first featured its swivelable touchscreen.

The T91MT just hit retail in the US and can be found for as little as $532. No UK release or price has been announced.
