Russian studio 4A Games’ long-in-the-works Metro 2033 will be released on PC next year, according to a annoucement from its newest publisher.
Metro 2033 is based on a best-selling Russian novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky and is built with 4A’s cutting edge proprietary engine.
The PC version supports Nvidia’s PhysX tech.
“Metro 2033 boasts some of the most advanced graphics and PhysX effects we’ve ever seen,” said Ujesh Desai, vice president of GPU business at NVIDIA. “From what we’ve seen so far, this will be a showcase PC gaming title for 2010.”
