Ingram Micro has announced Pablo Suarez as the replacement for outgoing UK managing director Julian Klein’s from July 1st.
Suarez, who PCR revealed yesterday would be taking over the post, joined the distributor in 1994 in Europe as an international management trainee, before returning to North America in 1995. He has also served as sales director and managing director in Argentina.
He became executive managing director of the distributor’s Miami Export Group in 2002 following the closure of Ingram’s Argentinean division due to the collapse of the country’s economy.
"We were very pleased to find a successor from within Ingram Micro, and in particular an individual who has experience working with our company in the European market," said Ingram EMEA president Jay Forbes.
