Opal and DMSL have signed a deal at this year’s Channel Expo that will see the latter handle the former’s B2B broadband products.
The broadband solution, which was launched by Carphone Warehouse’s B2B division last year, has been built as a rival to BT’s own 21CN next generation network.

He said that the deal came at a time when the ICT and telecoms markets were beginning to converge and it was becoming increasingly important for the channel to get involved in selling services traditionally associated with the telco market.
"The SME market today is just a starting to understand how it can get more benefits from broadband and with the ability to build on the core service, Opal’s offering gives them the flexibility to add what they need, when they need it.
"As well as being aggressively priced they also offer exceptionally good margins and revenue opportunities."
Opal’s director of wholesale, Andy Hollingworth said that DMSL differed to its current distribution partnerships, as it was focused on the ICT market, rather than telecoms. "We are delighted to be working with DMSL to take our premium broadband value proposition to a wider spectrum of the ICT partner community.
