Dell is working on a Google Android-based netbook it has been revealed, after one of its partner firms detailed its involvement in the project.
Bsquare, a software developer, issued a press release earlier this week announcing that it was working with the vendor to "port Adobe’s Flash Lite 3.17 technology on to Dell netbooks running Google’s Android platform."
Such a device has been rumoured for several months now, but Dell and Bsquare were quick to quash the prior press release, claiming it was a mistake.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the firms said the announcement was made in error. However, they both stopped short of out right denying its existence.
