Printer firm latest vendor to sign partnership with buying group

Synaxon inks deal with Epson

Epson has become the latest vendor to sign a deal with Synaxon, in a move that will see its entire range of inkjet, laser and MFD products become available through the buying group.

The signing of the vendor marks a highly significant step in the progress of the German buying group, which entered the UK market last year, claimed its managing director Derek Jones (pictured).

"Epson is one of the very biggest names in printing and imaging and in the channel as a whole and we are absolutely delighted to have added this prestigious brand to our list of UK supplier partners. We are very pleased with the progress we are making in the UK and the agreement with Epson can only add further momentum to our plans."

Amongst the other benefits the deal brings to Synaxon members is Epson’s considerable marketing clout, with the vendor promising to support the buying group’s advertising campaign to promote its retailer, reseller and dealer members.

"Synaxon is a positive new force in the UK channel and Epson is delighted to have formed this partnership which we believe will be highly beneficial and productive for our partners," commented senior marketing manager at the vendor, Brian O’Gilvie.

"We are certain that this alliance will deliver significant advantages to many Epson resellers who, by using the wide range of resources provided by Synaxon, will be able to keep their finger on the pulse and take full advantage of the special offers and promotions that we will be running together.”
