Apple desktop refresh mooted

Apple is reportedly preparing a major desktop refresh towards the end of this month, according to various sources.

According to websites World of Apple and My Apple Guide, sources have independently told them of an impending refresh of the vendor’s Mini Mac, iMac and Mac Pro ranges.

The refresh of the Mac Mini line would be the first update to the range for several years and is likely to be a major update, while any update to its iMac and Mac Pro lines would likely be focused around integrating the new Nvidia chipset.

Apple’s new operating system update Snow Leopard is also anticipated to be previewed at any major launch event.
