Research finds an average 11 per cent growth rate

British SME resellers see growth

A poll by AMI Research has found that only eight per cent of SME resellers have experienced a decline in turnover, with most reporting an average growth of 11 per cent.

The study of 426 businesses, conducted during January, found that most of the respondents would be focussing on customer acquisition during this year and that half of them chose their manufacturers depending on their ability to help generate leads and acquire new customers.

“We were optimistic coming into the year and the first two months of it reflect that,” said Stewart Hayward, commercial director at WStore, one of the SME resellers polled.

“The level of drop-off is significant in the corporate market, but partners experienced in dealing with SMEs are not struggling.”
