Netbooks boosts Dell’s reach

Dell’s David Clifton has said that its netbook range has helped it to reach customers it has not been able to reach previously, in an exclusive interview with PC Retail.

The director for consumer marketing told PC Retail: "The netbook category has ignited interest among customers that we may not have reached in the past."

He also refused to rule out further retail partnerships: "We view retail agreements as strategic partnerships, and are always looking for opportunities where we see a good fit."
