UK's largest network still shunning devices ? T-Mobile fails to secure stock after dropping Acer in October over stock issues

O2 and T-Mobile not stocking laptops this Xmas

Two of the largest mobile operators will not be stocking laptops over the Christmas period it has emerged.

T-Mobile, the UK’s third largest network, has failed to agree terms with new laptop suppliers in time for Christmas after it dropped Acer in October because of stock shortages.

Meanwhile, the UK’s largest mobile network O2 is yet to enter the market, though it has been at the centre of speculation for several months now.

Around 30,000 netbooks are thought to have been sold last December, but that figure is expected to jump ten-fold by analysts.
