Long running US animation lampoons iPhone and Mac vendor

The Simpsons attacks Apple

Hugely popular US series The Simpsons went head-to-head with almost equally popular vendor Apple, as the former ridiculed the latter in a show aired last night.

The episode, entitled ‘MyPods and Boomsticks’ features Mapple boss Steve Mobs (a thinly veiled reference to real life Apple CEO Steve Jobs) broadcasting an announcmenet from an underwater HQ.

It also features Lisa Simpson walking into a ‘Mapple Store’ stocked with MyPods, MyPhones and MyCubes, and gasping ‘Its so sterile.’

The episode should air over here later this year.
