Publisher Incisive Media has announced a seven per cent growth in readership in Q3 for its consumer PC magazine Computeractive – this brings the figure up to 678,000, which represents a 19 per cent growth in comparison with 2006.
The magazine is celebrating its tenth birthday this year, while sister magazine Personal Computer World is 30. Both titles have been revamped this year, with redesigns and new editorial sections.
Meanwhile the Computeractive Ultimate Guide To… series has seen a 25 per cent growth in sales year-on-year, which has prompted Incisive to launch a subscriptions service in the next few months. The title provides advice on numerous subjects including Vista, Genealogy, CD/DVD Burning and Facebook, and comes loaded with supporting software for readers.
