Publisher to "spend more time in development with the title" to ensure high quality

Aspyr delays Call of Duty 4 for Mac

Aspyr has announced that it is delaying the release of the Mac version of critically acclaimed first-person shooter Call of Duty 4.

The delay of CoD4 for Mac, which was announced in January and given an initial release date of May, is being described by the publisher as only being "pushed by slightly."

"Aspyr Studios has chosen to continue to spend more time in development with the title in order to ensure a high-quality gaming experience for Mac gamers," the publisher said in a statement.
