Asus names desktop Eee PC

Asus has revealed that it will be launching the desktop version of its hugely popular Eee PC early next month.

The firm also revealed the product’s final retail name, the Ebox. Asus has been coy on the PC’s specifications, but The Register is predicting that it will come with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.

The device, which will come in white and black, is set to officially launch at next month’s Computex event in Taipei on June 3rd. Retail information is expected to be revealed then.
