Vendor says current situation is confusing to consumers, but that it faces a 'challenge' to change it

Nvidia admits need to simply GeForce range

Nvidia has admitted that it needs to simplify its GeForce range of graphics cards as customers struggle to understand the differences between models.

Speaking to GI.biz‘s James Lee, Nvidia’s vice president of content business development, Roy Taylor admitted that the current situation needed to be changed but would be a ‘challenge’ to do so.

"It is a challenge that we’re looking at right now. There is a need to simplify it for consumers, there’s no question," Taylor said.

"We think that the people who understand and know GeForce today, they’re okay with it – they understand it. But if we’re going to widen our appeal, there’s no doubt that we have to solve that problem."
