Retail hails trade awards

The PC Retail Awards has gained enthusiastic praise from PC retailers across the country, following the debut event at London’s Café Royal last Thursday.

“Thanks to all who have voted for us, it was a fantastic night. Well done to organisers, it was truly a great evening. Congrats to all the winners,” said Charanjit Kohli , owner of the High Street Independent award winner YOYOtech.

And it wasn’t just the winners who were quick to praise the awards: “The PC Retail awards were not the usual same thing. It was a huge event. You could see that large amounts of money were being spent wherever you looked. It was a very good evening,” said Anthony Keen from Keen Computers (via Brigantia’s forum).

“What a great night – putting faces to names. We’ll be back next year for definite and we will win an award,” said Tommy Pugh from Gemstone Computers.

“Cracking night. Well done to all the winners and the PC Retail team for putting on a great event,” added Jamie Plumridge from yourtechonline.com.

Meanwhile Mike Hoffman from Drum Brae added: “It was a great night! I’m sure everyone had a wonderful time.”
