Update set to launch at Macworld Expo and Conference on January 15th

Office 2008 Mac on schedule

Microsoft has announced that the delayed Office for Mac 2008 has been signed off by its development group and has been released for manufacturing, indicating that the product is still on target to launch on January 15th, at the Macworld Expo and Conference.

"Our final build has left the building and is en route to manufacturing sites abroad," said Geoff Price of Microsoft’s Mac Business Unit.

The new version of Microsoft’s productivity software for Apple’s Mac OS X platform was delayed earlier this year.
