The Roadmouse fleet set to decrease fuel consumption while increasing capacity

PC World launches new enviro-trucks

PC World has launched a new fleet of lorry, which promise to cut fuel consumption, while also increasing storage capacity.

The fleet of 75 lorry, which are shaped like a computer mouse, are due to enter service early in 2008, and will deliver stock to all of PC World’s 167 stores in the UK and Ireland.

"I’m very pleased that we’re able to use the state of the art RoadMouse to deliver stock to our stores," said Keith Jones, managing director of PC World. "The aerodynamic shape is much more efficient and, being mouse-shaped, it is also a great reminder of the technology that we provide."
