Corsair develops innovative secure flash drive, available through Realtime

Hardware-secured Padlock Flash Drive launched

Manufacturer, Corsair, has developed a Flash Padlock drive that has been designed to give users a hardware-secured lock to protect their data on a USB drive. It features auto-lock hardware security to prevent any unauthorised access or brute force attack to the data stored on the drive.

To unlock their data users simply program in a PIN number using the keypad featured on the drive casing. The Flash Padlock is plug and play, requiring no software or drivers, and features a lock/unlock indicator light.

The Corsair Flash Padlock is available now from Realtime Distribution in both 1GB and 2GB capacities.

Chris Bloxham, Product Manager at Realtime, commented: “The new Corsair Padlock is the latest must-have gadget from Realtime Distribution. The Padlock is a very simple to use product that allows the user to store and transport their data with maximum security.”

Chris Gibson, UK Sales Manager at Corsair, added: “With our new Padlock USBs transferring sensitive data has never been safer. They are extremely secure, easy to use and fully plug and pay, which means they don’t require any software/drivers to work properly.”
