Distributors to battle it out at PCR Awards

Distributors are a vital cog in the technology channel machine – linking vendors with the people at the front line: retailers and resellers. The 2008 PC Retail awards will acknowledge those distributors, and in some cases specific teams, that have best fulfilled this function.

There will be two awards given to individual sales teams; one each for those specialising in consumer facing and B2B products respectively. There will also be an award for the organisation that has shown the most commercial innovation and for the most highly regarded marketing and PR team. Finally there will be an award for smaller, niche outfits.

The distribution category is the second of three categories at the 2008 awards, which will be held on Thursday March 13th at the Cafe Royal on London’s Regent Street. It will be an acknowledgement of the critical importance of distribution to the UK technology industry.
