Warner takes nearly a third of HD DVD and Blu-ray market

High definition video market grows

Warner has reported that 300, The Departed and Planet Earth among others, have helped boost its share in the high definition video market to around 30 per cent.

Since July 31, 2007, “300” has sold a record breaking 250,000 plus copies on HD DVD and Blu-ray to consumers, according to Warner Home Video.
Currently, Warner boasts the title for highest grossing HD title with the dual-format release of Planet Earth.
