D-Link launch new wireless starting kits

D-Link has announced the launch of its latest wireless kit aimed at customers looking to upgrade their homes to wireless.

The DKT-710 Wireless G and DKT-810 Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router Starter Kits are designed to help those wishing to move to wireless networking, albeit at a low cost and minimum fuss.

The Wireless G Starter Kit is designed for first time adopters wanting an entry-level solution at low cost. The DKT-710 comprises the DSL-2640B ADSL2+ Modem/Router and DWA-111 USB 2.0 mini adapter, and has been designed to provide home users with an economical and hassle-free way to connect to the Internet using Wi-Fi.

The Wireless N Starter Kit has been designed to appeal to advanced users who demand increased wireless performance and those who want to upgrade their existing wireless G network. The DKT-810 comprises the award-winning DSL-2740B ADSL2+ Modem/Router and DWA-140 USB 2.0 mini adapter. Based on 802.11n, the DKT-810 kit offers a maximum wireless signal rate of 270Mbps, enabling bandwidth-hungry applications such as high-definition video streaming to run seamlessly.
