Concept Fab PC boasts e-paper monitor

Fujitsu reveals flexible display

Whilst it may not be ready to roll off the production line just yet, Fujitsu has lifted the curtain on a concept design for an upcoming laptop – and it’s the flexible e-paper display that has caught people’s attention.

DailyTech reports that the machine uses fabric in its construction, allowing for the monitor section to stretch right down to the keyboard. The laptop itself can then be folded, rather than closed via a hinge, without any detrimental effect on the screen.

Whilst there is no official word on when, or indeed if, the machine will hit retail, but expect a price well in excess of $2000 if it ever does emerge.
