Ingram Micro has expanded its consumer electronic product range to include TVs, MP3 and MP4 players, media centres, personal DVD players, hi-fi, cameras and camcorders, projectors and screens, game consoles, navigation systems, wireless networking and IP surveillance solutions.
The new product lines will be supported by targeted local marketing campaigns, trade shows, training seminars and a variety of specific retail related services.
“In terms of technology products, the boundaries between the office and the home are blurring,” said Hans Koppen, president of Ingram Micro Europe. “The convergence trend between IT and CE vendors and products is also felt in the reseller channel, where more and more resellers are offering an increasingly mixed portfolio of IT and CE products.
