Commodore Gaming is now selling the entry-level G and GS gaming rigs through its online store alongside the higher spec GX and XX models.
Prior to this the firm said it would make the G and GS models available exclusively through the retail.
Commodore Gaming claims that the reason for this u-turn is due to the ‘epic’ demand for its products.
“It’s incredible to see such demand for our gaming PCs in this first week, and as such we are offering a wider selection for our online customers to choose from,” said Bala Keilman, CEO for Commodore Gaming. “By including the Commodore G and GS models in the online store, we are now catering for all customers from entry level to extreme level.”
Since Commodore would surely not want to anger the retailers who have bought stock on the premise that it was not going to be available online, the announcement could be due to a disapointing responce at retail.
PC Retail would be interesting to know what readers think of this change in policy by Commodore Gaming. If you have any comments, please email Andrew.email@example.com.
