Enta picks up at industry award ceremony

Entatech, the main organisation within Enta Group, took away Distributor of the Year – Systems and Components 2006, while sister firm Entanet won the Specialist Vendor award. Entatech was also short-listed for Software Distributor of the Year and Networking Distributor of the Year.

“There are many other ISPs who are better known than Entanet but none that delivers a better, more consistent and reliable level of service,” said John Tsai, vice president of Entanet. “We are absolutely delighted with our achievement. It is always good to know that your efforts are appreciated and that you are moving in the right direction. For Entanet, this is the only the start – we believe there is a massive opportunity for us and for our partners in the years ahead. This award only makes us more certain that we have found a wining formula – and one that suits both Entanet and its customers.”

Entatech topped the shortlist which included the likes of Computer 2000, Bell Microproducts, Micro Peripherals, VIP Computers and Westcoast – while Entanet was placed ahead of ITDealer.com, Networks First, Griffin Internet and Symbol Technologies.

Jon Atherton, commercial vice president at Entatech commented: “We have worked extremely hard this year and feel that thoroughly deserve this recognition. It is all the more satisfying to know that our partners and customers have taken the trouble to vote for us – it shows that they really do value the service that we deliver them.”
