Heard much about CTS 2007? No, neither have we. But a second new management team in less than a year should be getting things rolling soon...

VNU promises commitment to CTS despite turmoil

A new team was brought in for the NEC, Birmingham show following its last outing in May, but changes at organiser VNU Exhibitions have led to another surprise reshuffle.

All the key staff are departing, including event manager Michael Blackhurst, sales manager Anthony Hull, marketing manager Nick Craig-Waller and marketing executive James Bissett. They will all be gone by the end of November.

Yet the show lives on and is currently set for an earlier than usual slot of Wednesday March 28th and Thursday March 29th in its usual venue.

"VNU is very committed to these events and has already recruited a new sales manager, Chris Debbinney-Wright, and a new marketing manager," offered a VNU insider.

With only five months until the 2007 show opens its doors, many potential exhibitors and visitors are awaiting more information.

PC Retail understands, however, that a new marketing campaign is very close to completion and the countdown to next year will begin shortly.
