Ingram Micro snaps up Philips

The deal will mainly focus on supplying Phillip’s range of monitors and peripherals to the UK channel, strengthening the pan-European relationship between the two firms. Phillips recently announced Q3 group net income of €4.2 billion.

“This agreement underlines our focus on the consumer electronics market and our determination to provide our reseller base with a product offering that allows them to fully address and exploit the booming convergence opportunity,” said Bhavesh Patel, commercial director at Ingram Micro UK.

“The feedback we receive from our reseller events sends out a clear message around the growing demand for support in this area and to secure this agreement with such a high-profile vendor of this stature, represents a clear signal of intent from Ingram Micro.”
