EU antitrust regulators are investigating complaints against Google filed by three web-based companies.
Although the complainants have not been identified by the European Commission, Google reportedly said that the complaints originated from British price-comparison site Foundem, Microsoft-owned Ciao and French legal search site ejustice.fr.
"The Commission can confirm that it has received three complaints against Google which it is examining. The Commission has not opened a formal investigation for the time being," the EU executive said in a statement to Reuters.
