Having launched in the US in August 2013, Motorola’s flagship Moto X is now heading to the UK.
The smartphone, which is the first flagship to be released by Motorola since Google acquired the firm in 2012, will be offered at O2 and Amazon SIM-free for £380. Consumers will also be able to sign up for a two year contract at Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse and receive the Moto X for free on a £25 per month tariff.
The white version of the smartphone will be exclusive to Phones 4U for the first three months.
Specs include a 4.7-inch AMOLED 1280 x 720 HD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 2GM of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Adreno 320 GPU, 10MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera.
As well as launching in the UK on February 1st, the smartphone will also receive a wider European rollout from the same date.
According to CompareMyMobile, Motorola devices makes up 0.26 per cent of all smartphone trade-ins in the UK. With Motorola’s RAZR XT910 being the top traded-in Motorola smartphone of 2013 – making up 0.11 percent of all trade-ins.
