Gaming Special: How to get involved in PCR’s September issue

To coincide with Laura Barnes returning to PCR as editor, the next print issue is going to be the Gaming Special, which will hit desks at the beginning of September.

Although this means that you’ll have to wait slightly longer to receive the next issue of PCR, we promise that it’s going to be worth it!

What’s more, we would like to hear from gaming retailers, distributors, vendors and businesses that can contribute to our Gaming Special, which will aim to cover everything from PC gaming’s humble beginnings to the current state of the Esports scene.

Gaming Retailers

We’re looking for the best of the UK’s gaming retailers to give us some insight into how they sell gaming gear and how the Esports boom has affected them.

We are also bringing back the much-loved ‘Retailer Spotlight’ feature and would like to include a great store that can give us the low down on how their business began and what’s selling well at the moment.

If you would like to be considered for any of these features, email Laura Barnes at laura.barnes@futurenet.com

Distributors / Vendors

The Gaming Special will feature two sector guides covering gaming PCs and components, and gaming peripherals. If you would like to submit your product or range, get in touch to be considered. Spaces in these features are very limited, so make sure you put your flagship/latest gaming products forward!

We would also like to hear from distributors and vendors interested in offering comments on how Esports has affected their business, as well as tips on how their retail partners can best sell gaming products.

If you would like to be considered for any of these features, email Laura Barnes at laura.barnes@futurenet.com

Everyone

Finally, whether you’re a retailer, distributor, service provider, vendor, charity or trade body, if you have an interesting event, appointment, charity news, or would like to be considered for any of our regular ‘People’ pieces (In My Team, Life in the Channel, Opinions) get in touch. You make PCR what it is and we want to celebrate and highlight all the great work that the tech retail industry does!

For those who have our previous features list and are wondering what’s happened to our Security Special, fear not, that will now be our October issue. So anyone wanting to submit content for our security hardware/software guides, or lend comments for our Bio Identification feature can still do so.

If you would like to get involved commercially in this issue or any upcoming issues of PCR, please contact Sarah Goldhawk on sarah.goldhawk@futurenet.com or Gurpreet Purewal on gurpreet.purewal@futurenet.com
